What is Alysis AI?+
Alysis AI builds affordable AI tools and Gen AI services, powered by a decentralized compute network. We make generative AI accessible - whether you need a coding agent, model APIs, or hosting and fine-tuning.
What problem does Alysis solve?+
AI is expensive and complicated to run. We use a decentralized network of GPU contributors to bring costs down, and we build tools and services that make it easy to actually use generative AI.
What is PoUW?+
PoUW (Proof of Useful Work) is a system for validating that miners performed useful AI tasks, not just arbitrary computation, and for rewarding them based on measurable output.
What is the difference between PoW and PoUW?+
Proof of Work (PoW) secures a network with generic computation, while PoUW focuses on verifiable, useful AI workloads and ties rewards to real task performance.
How do agents use Alysis?+
Autonomous agents can dispatch inference, fine-tuning, or data-processing jobs to the network and receive verified results, allowing them to scale tasks without running their own infrastructure.
Who can mine on Alysis?+
Anyone - from a personal computer to a full-scale mining facility. Our software optimizes every machine's output, and rewards are distributed fairly based on each contributor's real value to the network.
What AI tools do you offer?+
Our first tool is the Autonomous Coding Agent - a fully autonomous, open-source coding agent currently in closed beta. We're building more tools with the same philosophy: useful, affordable, no vendor lock-in.
What are Gen AI Services?+
We offer model APIs, hosting, and fine-tuning as managed services. They're currently in development. The idea is simple: you pick a model, we run it for you at a fair price, powered by the Alysis network.
Is everything open-source?+
Our AI tools are open-source. The Gen AI services are managed - you use them through APIs and don't need to run anything yourself. The infrastructure layer (blockchain and network protocol) will also be open-source.
